Collector Ø1400 + Ø900 (Donetske Hwy) ГШБ Ø1400 мм · ГНБ Ø900 мм Auger boring + HDD 2025

About

Two trenchless technologies were combined on a single project: the large Ø1400 mm section was completed by auger boring, and the Ø900 mm section by horizontal directional drilling.

Selecting the method per section makes it possible to route the collector under Donetske Highway optimally, accounting for diameters, soils and workspace — without large-scale road excavation.

Scope of work

  • Laying Ø1400 mm steel pipe, 81 m long, by auger boring
  • Laying Ø900 mm pipe, 72 m long, by HDD
  • Storm collector repair under an arterial road
